Hayton Parish Council has a population of 2,246 at the last count and lies East of Carlisle and West of Brampton, Cumbria. It has twelve parish councillors who are all volunteers split into the four electoral wards of Corby Hill, Hayton, Heads Nook and Talkin. Meetings are normally held on the third Wednesday of month (with exceptions of April, August and December) at various halls around the parish and the public are encouraged to attend and raise any concerns. Please look at the Calendar page for the annual list of dates and venues for meetings.
The Council and the Community is served by a Parish Clerk who would like to hear from you if you have any problems, suggestions or are unhappy with something (we also enjoy receiving compliments too!). Feel free to email us with any comments on current issues relating to the parish or simply use the form below. If these are appropriate to the Parish Council they will be considered at a parish meeting. Alternatively, we will pass the information to the appropriate statutory body for them to deal with.
